OUR 3-BEDROOM LAKEFRONT HOME.
Our 3-bedroom lakefront home in Vermilion, Ohio provides a cozy get away while still being located directly on Lake Erie. Recently renovated last winter with the addition of a new second story (!) our "new home" is fabulous. While maintaining the original knotty pine interior, our first floor provides a new large updated kitchen and dining area, enlarged living room area, a very large master bedroom that directly faces the lakefront, two new large bedrooms on the second floor, two new baths, a spacious new laundry room, and a large patio area. Besides fabulous (!) our home is charming, cozy and immaculate.
Our large, private backyard abuts Lake Erie and provides you with a 180 degree view of the Lake - so you can watch the beautiful sunrises as well as the gorgeous sunsets. Our shaded backyard is perfect for “sitting” by the water with a book or glass of "something". Take a snooze in one of our many lawn chairs in the shaded back yard and catch the afternoon tradewinds or watch a sailboat race. Or, head into town, fish off the break wall at the Park located at the end of our street, play tennis, basketball or golf or visit one of the many great Vermilion beaches. Our location is wonderful. Close to everything yet very peaceful and private.
Conveniently located, it is 20 minutes from Cedar Point and the many Sandusky water parks (Kalahari, Great Wolf Lodge, Castaway Bay), 30 minutes to the ferry for the Lake Erie Islands and wineries, 20 minutes to historic Milan/Norwalk Ohio (home of Thomas Edison), and 45 minutes to Cleveland’s Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame, the Science Museum, Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers, and the world famous Cleveland Orchestra, and Art and History museums. There is fine shopping, restaurants, boat rentals and the quaint City of Vermilion (complete with ice cream shoppe, naval museum, wonderful beaches and a 5 star French restaurant on the water) to visit.
FAMILY GATHERINGS
Because our home is a duplex we also have a large one bedroom mirror image house that is located next door which is great for family gatherings. If you would like to rent both the 1 bedroom house and the 3 bedroom house, the price for both is $2200. For additional information regarding the large single bedroom house note the one-bedroom tab below. Both homes have been fully renovated - and are beautiful. It is a great opportunity for a grandma and grandpa to join in the family vacation - but have their own space and privacy.
